Now lets keep this concise.
I've just hit 23. Have maybe been thinning (diffuse) for about 2 years but still no-one can tell and I can still wear pretty long hair and I still have good coverage. When wet my hair looks reasonably thin though. Hairline nicely in tact.
I've done my homework, spoke to the Doctor and 7 weeks ago started popping the Propecia pills. I'm going to assess and evaluate around the month 6 mark but I'm prepared to be patient and give it the full year. If it isn't working at this point (I have a brother who is on finasteride and it has proven to be highly effective so I reckon the odds are in my favour) then Rogaine I guess, Nizoral as well... or whatever else seems to be getting the results for some of you others.
Realistically my target is maintenance for the duration that Propecia works (however long that is?) and in an ideal world my hair will thicken up so it even looks good when wet...we'll see though.
