Basically, I have pretty advanced diffuse thinning. I'm currently sporting about #3 buzzcut.

I recently purchased 2% Keto Cream and applied it last night. When I woke up this morning, my hair looked the best it's looked in years. It seems to be basically swelling the roots of my hair to make it look SO much better.

However, I have a slight allergy to Propylene Glycol so I can't use this stuff that often.

Are there any styling products - NOT SHAMPOOS- out there that people with short buzzcuts are using with success?

It's just basically Ketoconazole, which is the active ingredient in Nizoral, at a 2% concentration in cream form.

just curious did you use propecia or are you using it?

Yes.

Propecia 1mg
Topical 5% spironolactone
2% Keto shampoo every other day

Adding Apple Poly's PolyGro, which is a procyandin spray, soon. The research on it looks very legit.

I'm allergic to Rogaine by the way. My face swelled up like crazy and has still yet to fully come down.

I've been off and on it for years. However, for the last 6 months I've been on 1mg everyday religiously and plan to from now on out.

I already use Nizoral 2%, is it worth it to use keto cream?

Who knows. That's what I"m trying to decide. But I think using the cream on days you do not use the shampoo could be a very good idea.

IMO, Ketoconazole has to be used everyday to get the majority of the results. The study that said Ketoconazole is present at therapeutic concentrations 3 days after the initial application was referring to its antifungal properties, not its hair growing properties.

I have a prescription, so I just get it from a local pharmacy

I've never ordered anything from INHOUSEPHARMACY.COM but a lot of people on here seem to do. You can get it there.

How does your buzz cut look btw?

I have recession in temples AND diffuse thinning in the frontal and crown.
With the summer fast approaching, I am seriously considering buzz cut.

It's just daunting since it will probably show that I am thinning and basically make me look bald...
