now that propecia is 10 years old you think we will get a study on 10 years with the same people takin it for 5. it be interesting to rack up the people that were in the propecia 5 year trials and kept wit propecia another 5 years to see how much they stayd above baseline or below. my guess those who kept taking it half might be at baseline or above and other half a lil under. i also think those who shoot up alot above baseline the first 6 months will be the ones the drug keeps above baseline for the longest time.

surely more then a handfull of peep have had to continue with propecia after the 5 year study wus up. id just like to see merk take a few people that are still on it and report back their hair count. 20 people would satisfy me but maybe there arent even 20 people left on the drug from the orginal trial who knows. but seeing as there is 219 at the end of 5 years theres got to be a a lot still on it, i mean why would a lot of them stop if they held their hair for 5 years. also are there any members that have been on propecia for 10 years on this forum. and college im sure they did stop the study but it cant be to hard to contact random people from the study that are on it and take some hair counts.

There are guys on here who have used for over 10 years, certainly many for over 5 years. Search for them.

I am coming up to 5 years myself. Hair is still pretty much the same as when I started, perhaps losing a little ground.

Unfortunately, I never experienced regrowth. Only maintenance. Plus, I don't think I'm a responder to Minoxidil...
