I've been on propecia 1mg ED for 6 months now, with not much success. I would say that my hair is slightly coarser, however I'm still shedding pretty much at the same level as before I started. Which is a lot!!!

Propecia doesn't seem to have made the shedding worse, it's just that it hasn't slowed down, from what I remember....despite hoping for some positive changes for a while now

So I'm assuming this means that it's not going to do anything in the next few months?

I take it last thing at night, just before go to sleep, not that this matters!

Hey,

I stopped shedding around the 6 1/2 month mark and saw some thicken at this point. Shed again at month 9 1/2. Propecia demands patients...its tough i know. Everyone is different. Give it 12-15 months before you can make any decision.

Hi,

I guess it s normal :

when you take minoxidil, your haircycle tends to be more synchronized. As hair shed something like three months after it die, you lose more hair about every three months.

You just have to wait and things should improve... until it sheds gain !

good luck
