Propecia And Brain Fog: Is It A Common Symptom?

I've been on propecia for about two months now and haven't noticed any side effects for the most part. However, I recently have been feeling sort of out of it and at times feel as if my cognitive function is slowed or delayed. This could easily not be a result of propecia but the countless reports of brain fog after taking propecia make me hesitant to continue usage. Are these claims valid, and can propecia have both short term and long term effects on cognitive function?

Yup i'm positive it can... But it did go away somewhere in the first 6 months or so... (for me)..

My long term memory wasn't affected that much... But i would be spaced out a lot of times and would forget basic things and feel a lack of concentration that i couldn't explain... I mean, i could because 3 years ago i was on a drug called rivotril and it made me feel the same way.

I proved myself right because since i started Dutasteride i feel the exact same symptoms as when i first started fina, only A LOT stronger...

It's a fairly common complaint and was my main issue with taking finasteride along with fatigue..

I don't think it really affected my processing or decision making or anything but it reminds me of that hazy feeling you have when you have a cold.

I took finasteride for a year and it was present as long as I took it. I even tried 0.25mg and dosing eod, nothing made any difference. For me, it resolved fairly quickly after discontinuing. Some people either don't notice these effects or aren't susceptible to them.

Yeah some days it hits me harder than others (don't know why)... There are days where I just forget random things like what i was just saying, where I put my keys or whatever.. Some days i feel super lethargic and just can't think normal like my brain gets lazy or something lol but those days don't happen that often (thank god).

Although I have some sides my hair loss isn't slowing down (even on Duta and spironolactone) nor has the itching/pain sensations on my scalp disappeared.. So it sucks ! All this for nothing... Some guys use 1mg fina and minoxidil and get all kinds of gains, others get maintenance.. Others less fortunate get gains or maintenance but get sides ... Me, because I'm so special had to get sides with no results lol not even with spironolactone! freaking nice!

Maybe i'll stop minoxidil to see if the dermatitis and inflammation were caused by it..
