Hi,
I first noticed my hairloss about 2 years ago. It was not too bad at first so I thought by eating healthier it would get better. However, after a year it got really bad so that I could not spike my hair any longer and I was sad about it.
About 5 months ago I started Propecia by getting a prescription. I wanted to get the "real" stuff and did not want to take any chances. However, after a while I switched to fincar (1.25mg per day) since it got too expensive. I used nizoral every Wednesday and Sunday. On the off days I used T/Gel.
I can tell that there is obvious success. I have more hair than I had before and the hair is much easier to style. I'm also assuming its working because I buzzed my hair with a "1" 3 months ago and there is the normal hair that is a certain length and I see alot of new hairs that are shorter in length but growing well and I think it is propecia that is causing these new shorter hairs to grow.
Also a friend who knows I've been taking propecia asked me to get him some because he saw my hair.
I've had times where I stopped taking propecia for couple days and one stretch where I dropped for 3 weeks because I was paranoid about the side effects. However, I think it was all in my head.
Hope this helps.
