propecia and scalp pimples

Who have gotten scalp pimples ever since starting propecia? I've been on propecia for a bit over a year and ever since then I've had some itchy scalp pimples which i never had before.

maybe they are ingrown hairs of new ones coming in?

I've also had a few scalp pimples since starting finasteride, noticed a few tonight actually, I read somewhere that it's normal.

I've always had that scalp pimple deal, believe it's the same as folliculitis. Mine really flared up at my onset of male pattern baldness, too. This is going to sound crazy, but washing your hair with a little bit of dial soap can clear it up. The triclosan works wonders. I'm sure it's not the best for your hair, though. I can honestly say it cleared it up better than nizoral (which I still use as maintenance).
