Propecia And Testicle Discomfort After A Year On And Off

I was on Propecia for a year when I started to get some testicle discomfort. One would throb a little and sitting down would be a little uncomfortable as well. In addition, I noticed some numbness in my penis, especially when erect. Additionally, I found after orgasm I would be more drained than I was sued to.

In the year I was taking propecia, my hair became thicker than expected. Even my last haircut my stylist said "Well you'll never have to worry about going bald".

And this made me over confident and I stopped taking it...because I fear any sexual issues.

For 4 months I was off propecia and I noticed sexually I was back to normal. No numbness, not as drained as before and have the urge to orgasm daily.

But...the hair loss has hit me hard. I'm shedding and when I comb it back, wow, I see I don't have much on top! Luckily, my hair is naturally thick so after using product and blow dry, it's not so noticeable...at least for me.

I decided to go back on propecia (had lots of pills still) and after 2 weeks I started getting the testicle discomfort again along with numbness to the penis.

My question is this:
Is what I experience normal?

If you also experience this, does it come and go, or get worse?

Any advice?

Thanks

Try 0.25mg or lower daily dose. Ball ache is normal but I would say the "numbness" is not a normal effect.
