PROPECIA causing ACNE so using ACCUTANE

Propecia gave me BAD ACNE.

So bad I now need Accutane 20mg a day.

Thing is, if Propecia is causing big oilyness which is causing acne.. can I use Accutane and Propecia together so Accutane can fight that side affect?

accutane causes hair loss. Put spironolactone on your acne. It should clear it up.

I am the wrong guy to ask. if I had acne, I'd put spironolactone on it.

Don't take accutane. With propecia, its a bad comination. Not only will it counter propecia's hair growth effects, but it could be very bad for your mood and emotions, especially when both are used in combination.

If you are concerned about acne, you are far better off using Proactive Acne solutions. Usually these things on tv are scams, but trust me, I have used it, and had great results. It greatly reduces pimples.

Accutane is a dangerous drug. It can lead to suicidal depression, its not worth it.

Accutane does cause hairloss but its only temporary. I remember somebody in this forum took the combination of both but don't remember who it was.

I never had a problem with acne until about a year after starting propecia. I was 22 when I started Propecia and am now 30 and my acne became uncontrolable. I just started Accutane a week ago despite the concerns of hair loss. I heard rumors about Propecia causing acne but cant bring myself to stop using it because i do not want to loose what I have maintained. As far as Accutane causing hair loss, I think it is from dry scalp, irritation and lowering sebum. I'm hoping that making sure my scalp is in good shape should stop some of the Accutane caused hair loss.

Im on this forum becoz of accutane... tane gave me a massive hairloss and my hair didn come back after finishing the course.

so dont mix them!
