Does anyone know anything that could rectify this? It'd be nice to not have to worry about unimpressive orgasms, if this remains the only side effect I get.

it's common on finasteride - as long as it doesn't affect the sperm quality it's a small price to pay for keeping your hair IMO

and even if it does, unless you're trying to concieve a child, it's no big deal.

Not sure what foods might increase semen denisty or volume - have you googled it?

Yep, I got reduced volume/watery semen almost immediately after starting finasteride (like after 3 days). After 1 month, it became much, much better.

That's a fair price to pay for keeping my hair, IMHO. If you shoot it where it's supposed to go, you won't notice any of this to begin with.

Yes. I had sex with my girlfriend and the condom was definitely emptier. Today's the second day and I just tested it, and its definitely decreased. I'm going to try and forgo masturbation/sex for a couple days and see if anything builds back up.

I read that zinc helps increase semen volume, and I am taking that. But I just worry that if its affecting my semen/sperm quality, what if its doing so permanently?

I really don't want to harm my future child for a cosmetic improvement I needed at age 17.. the drug may leave my system, but what if the changes it makes to my prostate don't go away?

depends whether you believe the permanent sides claim.

The potential for harming an unborn child is claimed to be if Finasteride is present in semen which then gets passed into the egg/embryo, and then harms baby development, and even this theory is very tenuous - I believe the official stance by finasteride makers is that there is no danger concieving a child while taking Finasteride. But even if you were cautious and stopped taking finasteride when you wanted to concieve, it will be out of your system in a few hours so you wouldn't have to worry about it potentially passing through your semen.

as far as making permenent changes to your prostate, even if this is true I'm not sure how that might adversly affect a baby. The prostate makes the semen not the sperm. The most likely negative effect of finasteride is that it makes it harder to concieve due to the smaller semen quantity.

To the best of my knowledge it would take 7 days or thereabout until the drug is completely out of your system.
I just don't want to harm myself irreparably for a drug I'm taking at 17 to help my hairloss. You know?

Studies show that the prostate grows back and the volume of the semen also gets normal. My experience, though, says otherwise. If you're already so scared of the side effects, you shouldn't take it. There's too big of a risk for the nocebo effect.
