Hi,

I'm currently waiting on an order of Fincar (300 days worth, 1mg dosage), and I am almost out of my current Propecia.. so I have split them in half as to get some finasteride each day that I am waiting on my order. That means I am taking .5 mg for the next few days, and will be out for a couple days after that .. hopefully there is no customs problems which would prolong my wait.

I ordered from popularchemist ..

Can anybody re-explain to me the so-called 'effective dosage' amounts of finasteride that will provide benefits?

What is the range of these dosage amounts?

The recommended dosage for hairloss by Merck is between 1-1.25mg daily. But separate studies have shown dosages as low as .2mg to be just as effective, with minimized side effects. If I were to start taking Fincar today, with what I now currently know, I would start off with .5mg. No doubt about it.

Thanks.

I'm going to continue with 1mg daily since I've never had any sides.
