Alot of scientific studies and tests I've read about this drug all have concluded that side effects are low while serious side effects are extremely lower.Are these percentages true ?I see alot and alot of people on here who have experienced side effects (or are these just the people who were unlucky enough to experience these symptoms)

Don't worry man, just take the pill and forget about the sides. I've been taking it 10+ years and no sides at all.
Wouldnt the enzyme start producing again after you stopped taking the drug that destroys it? Seems most of the time it would to me. The numbers show this also that most men the sides go away after you stop. It has a pretty short half life.
Dont forget when you take a vitamin or drink that sugary pop your body is also altered permanently whether you see the sides or not. In fact almost every single thing that happens to you physically alters you permanently if think about it.
Your hormones actually change as you age NATURALLY regardless. Nothing in life ever stays constant. I dont see this broscience argument as a good reason against the drug.
I had sides so dont this poison is not a great argument. Listen to medical professionals giving you the prescription not people on forums. This is the lesson. No one arguing it is bad has any evidence. The worst thing is it might lower neurosteroids with the 5 ar 3 enzyme but it might not be any major negative in the long term. It could just as easily end up being beneficial

I took 2 doses. I was in borderline agony for days at a time. I reacted to this worse than anything I've ever read on this forum.
I experienced it first hand. I guess no one here who took finasteride was in as much pain as I was early on, but I can't recommend this when I was bed ridden from the ball and prostate pain I was in. It simply can't be ignored, and the idiots saying it was all in my head better start believing people when they say this thing does damage.
2 months later (today) i'm not in much pain, none at present moment, it's been slowly subsiding to the point that it is almost gone, but I do believe I have caused damage to my body, and I feel blessed that I had such a severe reaction so early on so that I didn't cause any more damage.
Been on minoxidil and finasteride for a month now .I noticed thinning and the overall appearance of my hair getting worse from about late may.1 month in a lot of new hair growth around hairline shedding practically stopped all together and hair thickness seems to have doubled I'm glad to have started treatment early on .it's funny how whenever I thought about finasteride I got slight pain in my balls but when I wasn't didn't feel a thing goes to show you how much your brain fucks with you .
