Propecia First few weeks?

Hello All,

I have been using Propecia for 2 weeks now and my libid has increased and I am sheddddding hair like CRAZY! Is this normal? All the hair that I m lossing is thin and light in pigment, not like my dark hair. What is going on? At this rate I will be bald in a month. I feel better and my skin was oily and now seems better. I just hope this is a good sign that the drug is workign for me.

stick with it. The same thing happened to me. The shedding should start to slow down in a few weeks. I'm just about to start month four on my regimen (big 3)and my hair loss has slowed dramatically. I had the same libido issues as you. Drive increased quite a bit for the first 2 months. However the past two weeks my libido has been lower than normal. But it's starting to feel like it's going back to normal. Good luck and stick with it.

I am only using propecia and Nizoral. I do feel rogaine may only aide the back of my head. Do you think that Propecia and Nizoral can have good effect on frontal hair loss? I do not want to use rogaine and would rather have to just take a pill.
