This topic has been debated to stalemate ad naseum. If you use the search function and have a strong stomach, you can read them.

Re: My personal experience, I have not noticed any changes in strength or muscle tone since starting propecia. Nor do I have any gyno. It seems that those who have gotten some gyno (this is a very subjective issue) have had it go away after discontinuing use. I say subjective in that many who reported here have self diagnosed the condition and the resolution.

Bruce is correct. Since we don't have a lot of hard data on muscle tone and Propecia use, we can't make any definite statements.

Purely based on conjecture from 4 years of running this site and my own personal experience with Propecia and working out, I can give a personal opinion - and that is that based upon the ebb and flow of Estrogen levels from Propecia, I did notice a slight increase in body weight/decrease in body fat (probably water retention moreso) that gave the impression of being more "cut" or less "cut" at various times.

Its a really foggy topic. I do know that bodybuilders who stuff their poor bodys full of chemicals to do anything they can to get better gains have long talked about Proscar / Propecia as a possible benefit due to the extra Testosterone it causes. Problem is, this extra T gets metabolized into excess Estrogen and then you've got yourself a weeeeee little problem!
