Hello everyone, It's been 18 day for me on propecia (alone without minoxidile or dermaroller), I'm just wondering what do you think of my results? is my hair getting thicker and better or it's just imaginary results?

for me I already feel the difference in styling my hair, and in styling it's not looking as thin as before for me
what do you think guys? do you think I started to see results yet or it's just Imaginary results? would like to know your opinions

In both pictures my hair is really wet and exposed in lighting and at it's worst case.

I think this is imaginary results. Hair doesn’t actually grow that quickly. It’s a slow, monotonous process. I wouldn’t expect anything until around 3 months. I believe there have been freakishly good results faster than that, but I just wouldn’t bank on it. Just keep taking it every day, and document with pictures!

The hairline has deteriorated, the line itself has become worse. Cancel the finasteride. Accept estradiol! The hairline will recover in time and the hair will gain strength! Only estradiol will help in hair growth. Read about it yourself! I find it difficult to understand why most men are so stupid and can not understand it!

Nah mate, that’s just straight up nonsense and your not helping anyone giving advice like this..

First of all, his hair isn’t worse than before. It’s 18 days, what do you expect? You can clearly see the way he tilts his head a little bit to the side, making you look into the thinning temple a bit more giving a thinner appearance. Also the lighting is different and his hair looks more wet (darker) on the other pic.

Don’t be scaring people into taking estradiol just because that works for you. Yes it’s a more powerful drug, but you make it seem that there’s no way to maintain on fina or other stuff and that’s just bs. Fina might or might not work for him, but you should give it time to find out. And in the case it doesn’t work, he can try and see if estradiol is something for him.

Your hair looks good Chris. Just keep making pics once in a while to keep track of the situation. Right now it’s too soon to tell tbh.

Cheers lad!

This is another example of why forums are dangerous when individuals believe they are the medical experts on hairloss.

The picture on the right is before when my hair is looking darker
The left one Is after
Maybe you thought that the after is the picture on the right so you thought my hair is getting worst

Yes, exactly the point of taking these pictures is to see how my hair is at it's worst condition
my hair is wet, styled to the side and exposed in lightning
I think anyone hair temples will look worst if he done that as well
he's pretty much taking it so wants everybody else to start taking it
I don't want to take estrogen to get my hair back then end up with hormonal imbalance, gyno and erectile dysfunction it doesn't make sense.

That’s a very sensible outlook and I wish you the best of luck in your journey.
