Propecia side effects (please advise)

I took Propecia for about 1 year and a half. I developed gyno from it and stopped taking it. I want to get back on some sort of finasteride. What can I do to minimize side effects?

Seriously, go see your doctor, he is the only one who can help you, not a bunch of peoples in a forum.

Are you sure you had gyro?

Try 0.5mg instead of 1mg

I'm sorry if this is bad news, but other than reducing the dose there is nothing you can do. Like the poster above said though, you should see a doctor. Don't be afraid to shop around until you find a doctor who knows what he's talking about. Unfortunately, a lot of doctors don't know much about finasteride and they know even less about male pattern baldness.
