Hey guys, i'm not posting on this board to downtalk the people who got great results from the medication....I just wanted to say one thing and please don't get mad at my post...I've been off propecia for 3 years...I only took it for 2 months...Side effects that I still have are:Erectile dysfunct., pre mature ejaculation, and watery ejaculate.....Now, I did quit propecia COLD TURKEY, my question is...should I go back on it to see if my body readjusts itself to resolve these long term side effects? I have tried small dosage of clomid (50 mg 3x a week) and that didn't resolve the issue..... If anyone is having similiar side effects, feel free to join our SUPPORT GROUP at finasteride_side_effects@yahoogroups.com....Almost a 1000 people are joined on it who have the same effects..Thanks all!!!!

Out of interest, are you on anti-depressants? I find I get the sexual disfunction problems whilst on them.

As part of my early research on finasteride, I run into the yahoo group you mentioned and checking back to see information on that group I noticed that there are only 580 or so members. So my question is why the need to exaggerate the number of members by saying more than a 1000?

My question was not regarding the amount of people in the group...My question is if I should go back on propecia to recover from the side effects that myself and the other 572 members in group......What I meant to say is the group is growing to almost a 1000 members in which it will because there was only 50 members last year and now it has grown to almost 600.....

So going back to my original question, do any of you guys going back on propecia will re adjust our hormone levels so we don't have the side effects it initially gave us? Again, i quit propecia cold turkey after 2 months....and i have been off it for 3 years...

I stopped finasteride for around 4-5 weeks, after a year on the stuff. I noticed a few things like: suddenly having spontaneous morning erections again, after a long absence... in fact, almost every morning. And yes, returning to finasteride, those same morning erections have completely disappeared (which I can live with.) Although, I did notice a far less difficult adjustment period the second time around.

Just because there are 500 members doesn't mean that they all have side effects- I've been trying to join to find out about the side effects.
