Propecia sides

I just started fincar 0.5 mg,and gotta say I'm having some diffuculty in getting it up,and keeping an erection.

I'm 19 and started february 28th,and the first week all was well.Now,I'm feeling a little numb down there and it takes me a while to get it up.

I do have a cold at the moment if that means anything.I was wondering why this didn't happen at all the first week?And will these sides subside?If it means anything I still wake up some morning wood though not as much as the first week.

Second week in,difficulty down there getting and holding erection,penis feels soft,however no dick or testicle shrinkage,in fact their hangier than normal,only slightly lowered libido

Have had a cold for the last few days on top of it

No sides at all the first week

No sides other than those sexual ones so far

What should I do?I read stories of propecia sides "going away?"

Ive been on it for about 38 days. I am 23. The only side effects ive had thus far have been an occasional dull ball ache and some occasional twitching. My libido increased drastically for about a week, and then leveled back out. My erection did seem less strong about a week ago, but it may have been because i had sex 4 times that day..

I scare myself reading all these horror stories, and I was finally feeling better about it today...and then blam! i turn on the tv and its one of those "call this number if you have experienced sexual side effects or ed while taking propecia"

I really want to stay on it to keep my hair, but I am on the fence about what to do, and quite frankly I am getting tired of worrying about it. So I may just quit it anyways. The only thing is, ALL medicine/drugs has side effects that effect people differently, and Ive never really had side effects. So i keep going back and forth in my head

Also I still wake up with morning wood, and even had a vivid sex dream the other night (i have had sex dreams before, but not regularly).

I am wondering if consuming a diet that limits estrogen production will make the drug 'safer'

Upyours, I'm 25 now..I tried taking finasteride for about a month when i was like 23 I think and I had the same sides you describe. There are many people that get sides and are able to ride them out and they disappear. Merck states in their study that a certain percentage of people who had sides did have them clear up. So its up to you..if you can deal with it and you want to ride it out for another month or two..go for it..if you're worried about it..I would stop

Well I'm faarrr from sexually active now lol,so no that part doesn't worry me as much as wondering whether it will clear up or not.How was your experience?And how long would it even take to clear up?

I wonder why the first week I had more erections and bigger cumshots.Btw,I have had no depression or brain fog though,just down there sides.

i think that happens during the first weak due to the increase in testosterone due to the decrease in dht.

Okay,today I'm much less sick than I was on the past few days,and I just had a nice little jerk.It feels like penis is not as rubbery as it was the last few days,and my load was normal(cleaning it up right now infact).Hopefully this is a good sign,and for some reason I woke up with a gumby that turned into a morning hard on. :dunno:
