Hello,

I'm 23 y/o and experiencing male pattern baldness. Last month, I started taking finasteride 0,625mg each day. Now 1 month later my overall hair status is really bad, but in specific my temples (marked in yellow). It's like they completely fell off. I took a picture to illustrate the problem. 1 more issue; I also STOPPED minoxidil 1 month ago. Is it possible that the yellow circle are the lost minoxidil hairs? Or is this a finasteride shed? Or am I just baldening crazy fast and nothing helps? I'm so desperate...

A month is still early in propecia terms, six months to a year is when most people see results. You shouldn't stop minoxidil once you've started, I would get back on it.

I had to quit because it made my face look like ****. Really dry skin, dark circles under eyes, eye irritation and overall pale look. Someone even told me I looked withered. I tried both the liquid and the foam but I had the same issues.
