Im considering switching from propecia to a cheaper generic. Has anyone switched from one kind of finasteride to another and experienced new side effects?

get proscar instead

cut it in forths or fifths or even smaller if you want. the only way you get side effects is if you increase your dose. maybe a generic will have more in some pills than others, but they should even out enough that you won't get any unless they are all more potent. If so, just cut them in half and save money. your side effects can tell you if you are getting a deal.

Do you live in the US? I read somewhere that the FDA approved a generic (I could be wrong since it was a forum) but you should see your Doctor and find out.
