Propecia Users Response To Bad Reports?

Obviously alot of people here use Propecia or Proscar. I was just wondering how you all found it in terms of side effects, temporary and long term and what your responses are to all of the negative stories that are circulated, mainly concerning long term and irreversable side effects such as impotence, genital appearance changes etc coming from sites like Propeciahelp.com?

Personally, I was looking very forward to starting the drug and the 2% chance of any damage being done was little enough to make me not worry about trying it out.

However over this weekend I have read some really bad stories. People who reckon they should never have went near it, and users on this forum saying they reckon the percentage/likelyhood of side effects is alot higher than the stated 2%. I even read one disgruntled patient referring to it as 'poison'.

The bottom line is, I would love to try the drug and be able to use it if only for a short period to see if I react badly, and if I do get out before doing permanent damage, but I don't know if that's possible given what I've read recently.

Thoughts?

Mate I was beating around the bush for about two months because I was in your position... I took my first Propecia pill 5 weeks or so ago and I have not looked back ONCE.

I will be honest with you the only side I had was some itching around the nipples which has completely dissappeared since the first week. There is absolutely no sides for me. You will always hear Negative reviews because people want to whinge the great majority of those like me who have no sides don't bother starting threads about how the Propecia is doing WHAT ITS SUPPOSE to do... so they never come back here to tell about their success etc.

Give it a go bro.

I'm in your shoes, I'd rather be bald than impotent. - So am not sure whether I will try it.

However, remember that people only go online to comment about it. There are probably millions of propecia users who use it fine, and therefore don't feel the need to go online to comment about it. Where as those who have had problems feel the need to warn others. So you could end up on a forum where everyone is complaining about it, which makes it look like 100% have side affects. Remember they don't represent the general population.
