Hey everyone,

just wondering if its at all possible to get propecia without a prescription here in canada??

Went to the doctor the other day and he nearly laughed at my face.

Looks like i'll have to do this without his help.

yes, there are a number of places you can get real merck propecia, I can't think of them off the top of my head because I get generic finasteride for a lot cheaper from inhousepharmacy.com.

I'mre sure someone else will chime in.

There is debate on that. I trust it, but I have no real evidence to support that. I beleive CIPLA is a reputable company. Check out Joeb's success story (in the success story forum) with generics. His results are pretty astounding and make a good case for generics.

CIPLA is an Indian Drug company and as cook'n'milkies pointed out its a well renown company for its products. I know few people indirectly who work for this company in India.

As for getting finasteride without prescription, I got mine from popularchemists.com without a prescription. It took almost a month for the package to get to me. The tabs where shipped out straight from India. I paid $47 CAD for 80 tabs. Not too expensive and without a prescription. And as it happens i might not have to have go through popularchemist.com to get finasteride again. I talked to my friend in India and he says he can easily ship me finasteride directly from india for a fraction of a cost.

But I would recommend you to try popularchemist.com. I had to wait for my shipment it came through somehow (i don't know if the customs got hold of my shipment. If they had i am sure it wouldn't have come through). But this is the only place i know you can get finasteride without a prescription.

Good Luck.

What kind of doctor do you have up there in canada? Sounds like my old all knowing *** of a doctor. Many other people can give you prescriptions to propecia besides your specific doctor. You can do a search on the propecia website to find a doctor who can prescribe it to you.

http://www.propecia.com/finasteride/pro ... doctor.jsp

dermatologists can also sometimes prescribe it.

I personally feel way better about getting my propecia through a legitimate source and prescription.. This is not to say that those of you who are getting your propecia from overseas are wasting your money. I would just rather be 100% sure I'm getting what I need.

I dont see the big hassle in getting a prescription anyways. It was free for me and can be for you too.

Considering I got all the usual side effects from my Cipla Fincar (generic Proscar), I'm convinced it's the real deal. It comes in sealed foil blister packs and not the N. American-style amber plastic container with filled with anonymous-looking pills, so there's at least some level of counterfeit protection going on.
