Propeica 1 year...

Been on Propeica for 1 year and now starting to get thin on top. I am so happy I found this web-cite it has been great. Just have a couple of questions. My hair was a lot thicker when I started propeica a year ago and now I have been shedding a lot and my hair line is stating to go bad in the temple areas. My far head is very oily and I have had some inflammation on my nipples. Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced what I have? Is there any hope for regrowth? Does anyone know if year 2 on Propeica is better?

I am about 7 months on propecia and I look about the same. I have added minoxidil (dr lee's xandrox) to the mix now. I think if we had been great responders we would see something by now as far as regrowth. So you may consider minoxidil and if I were you I would start ASAP.

well i dont konw about that.
even the propecia website says to wait up to a year.

7 months is too early. It is just over two telogen cycles so hairs shed near the beginning of treatment should just be noticeable again now.

You have to realize that male pattern baldness is still happening while on finasteride. finasteride just weakens male pattern baldness and it takes a while to start doing so
