my doctor told me that i could just take proscar once a week n it would work the same, something about the halflife of follicles or somethin. anythin know anything about this? anyway, ive been takin proscar for about 4-5 months n im still shedding like crazy, is this typical? do i just have to wait longer? the top of my head is noticeably thinner than it was just like half a yr ago, at least to me. any ideas or suggestions are welcome

Finasteride runs out of your system in about 12 hours. REGARDLESS the amount.
1mg once a day. And add nizoral, and a topical anti-androgen like spironolactone.
I'd hold off minoxidil untill you're SURE you need it. Can cause some serious shedding, and once you're on it, you're on it for life.
