I know none of you are doctors, but from your own knowledge is Poscar safe to take with Zoloft?

Had the same question recently and asked Dr. Lee about that. He said
no problem to take serotonin reuptake inhibitors and Propecia concurrently.
I take paroxetin and Propecia in the morning-havn't seen any adverse effects up to now.
Hope that helps - good luck!

The only issue here as I see it is that one side effect of Zoloft is libido decline. Adding this to Propecia does not look optimal, no?

I take paroxetine and propecia I haven't noticed any anydverse effects thus far, except for the lack of libido thing, compounded by the paroxetine and propecia

you're right about the libido. I am not too much worried about that because Propecia doesn't cause any side effects with me.
I was more worried about the fact that zoloft may cause hair loss,
incidence is 1%!
So paroxitine seems to be safer, the incidence for hair loss is below 0,01%. Make me sleep better...

How long do you take both medications?

The issue here is that you don't know specific to yourself, how you will respond to taking both of these drugs together. Yes, Propecia may not impact your libido taken on its own, adding Zoloft may introduce another dynamic entirely.

Just something to watch out for.

paroxetine and zoloft are actually safe to take, If you guys are concerened that it will adveresly effect your hair situation than perhaps do something favaourable to your body like excersise more, eat more fruits, that kind of stuff, from my experience though, paroxetine has not had an effect on my hiar density. It is mainly my libido that I am concerned with so I started adding more antioxidents and nutrients etc......
paroxetine and zoloft take a while to be noticable therefor I doubt they have any major major drawbacks.

Try L theanine for calmness first, (suntheanine brand)

I'm going on Zoloft in about a week. I've been taking 1.25 mg of Proscar for more then two months now and haven't seen any side effects. I may just buy the 1 mg Propecia just to be on the safe side. I have trouble cutting the Proscar into fifths. I'm not taking Zoloft for depression so I may just stop using it if I see some bad side effects.

hey there...i take both zoloft and proscar....i was on proscar for about 1/2 year with no side effects...i got into bit of funk and started taking zoloft about 5 months ago now...so long story short...ill be honest...after starting zoloft i worry much less about my hairloss...dont get m ewrong, i still have my moments but it definitely has taken th edge off th ethought of hairloss...so that is positive...however, i hav eto say that i do seem to have less of a sex drive since starting the zoloft...it sounds weird but im really not all that concerned with the sex driv ething except that it tells me my testosteron eis prolly bit too low for 24 yr old hockey playing male...i tried some tribestan but then started wondering whther i was increasing dht??...anyways...in my mind zoloft has helped me out a ton...i only take 1/2 pill a day...hair seems to be doin well...if i knew tribestan wouldnt stimulate hailross that would solve all my problems but i guess u just hav eto pick ur battles!!!...k man hope this helps...
