Yes it happen to me too...
However, problems with proscar cutting in my point of view, is that their is no longer that protective cover that covers with the whole tablet.
Does this protective cover keep the tablet from being denatured during its passage through the high-acid stomach?
Does it prevent the digestion of the finasteride from protease enzymes?
Who knows! I guess Cassin was right when he said that noone had done any scientific studies on cut proscar..
Well, i plan to be the first! I'll test the effect of various human proteases, high pH, effect of consuming the table with hot liquid (coffee) rate of denaturation on cut and uncut tablets.. I'll run the gel electrophoresis and see if the finasteride has been permanently denatured, or if the protein chain has been cut. Of course, I'll have to do a dodgy and "borrow" the use of the equipment when i'm doing the research component of my degreee.. which i will do in maybe 2 years time.. so yer, just ignore the last paragraph
EDIT - ok screw that! Finasteride is not even a protein.. you can effective ignore my post!
