It can get quite dark in here. I'd just like to say that life is not forever. Don't forget to enjoy sunrises/sunsets once in a while. Good food. Music. Travel. The beach.

I wish I had enjoyed life more when I was young instead of being depressed and worried all the time.

I think many of us use this place as somewhere to vent as it's probably the only place that takes our plight seriously. Despite hairloss it seems like many of us lead 'normal' lives... We work, date, travel, play in bands... Even with this crappy disfigurement

Good advice though, I wish I didn't spend so much of my life worrying about hairloss. Over a year of my life that I'm never going to get back.

Thanks CaptainForehead.

I try to work constantly on being positive and try to enjoy every thing in life, though it's so hard when you've been forced to put up with a largely unfix-able problem like hair loss because of bad genetics. Personally, for me at least, life has just never been the same since Male Pattern Baldness struck. I wish gene therapy existed.

U cannot fight hairloss, thinking about hairloss is inviting depression, failure in life, schizophrenia, bad family relations, everyone will leave u because of that.
Be real, enjoy the life as full as possible.Your Charm is what will count, not your looks.I know a girl(doctor) who is just 4.5 feet in height , i watch her regularly going to a Hospital for practice, walking to the hospital with stol(piece of cloth wear around face to avoid pollution). She is so dedicated for her job, attends the hospital alone from her college.Every one there loves her, wait for her. When some day if she did not come or i don't see her,it makes my heart sank, this is the charm u can create.

I appreciate the sentiment OP. I think you are right. Most of us have only been given 60-80 odd years of existence, after that it's over, so we should try and appreciate the good things, whatever they are and however rare they may be. Sometimes it's really hard though.

I agree with Doyle that most of us do try and lead normal and sometimes even happy lives, for me personally this place is an escape from that and I place where I come to concentrate all of my (usually negative) energy regarding hair loss.
