I have been on proscar for about 3 and a half months and i am starting my secound really bad shed way more then 50 to 100 hairs a day is this normal?

Yea, some people get a second mega shedding in the 9 to 11 month of taking finasteride. I also believe that every 6 to 12 months of using finasteride you will shed more and then stop. So I do think what your going through is normal. Now, if it does not talk after 3 months than you may want to talk to your doctor.

ya i was doing fine this shed started about a week ago and is a bad one up till then things where really good and hair was looking much better.
so i dont know if i should just keep up with it or add minoxidil

Try not to worry about it and the shedding should stop soon.
