I've been reading his website and it's clear he recommends a regrowth stimulator and a dht inhibitor. Ok, let's say we go with 5% minoxidil for the former. Now, of the various DHT inhibitors he recommends:
1. azelaic acid
2. spiralactone
3. propecia
He says that azelaic acid reduces scalp DHT by 98%, why would he still recommend propecia? I know there is a difference between systemic and local DHT but if the azelaic acid works, why go with propecia? Same with spirolactone.
Also, why haven't there been any studies done about azelaic acid and spiralactone?
