Question about Dr. Lee's treatments

I've been reading his website and it's clear he recommends a regrowth stimulator and a dht inhibitor. Ok, let's say we go with 5% minoxidil for the former. Now, of the various DHT inhibitors he recommends:

1. azelaic acid
2. spiralactone
3. propecia

He says that azelaic acid reduces scalp DHT by 98%, why would he still recommend propecia? I know there is a difference between systemic and local DHT but if the azelaic acid works, why go with propecia? Same with spirolactone.

Also, why haven't there been any studies done about azelaic acid and spiralactone?

Stick with spironolactone, Finasteride and Minoxidil. spironolactone, at least, is a potent anti-androgen. AA has no working evidence that I've read.

Xandrox, IMHO, is a waste of money. Buy the regular Minoxidil from Lee, that's good stuff.

I agree with Axon, don't get fancy stick with the basics.... Don't spend any extra money on stuff that has no proof, the hairloss battle cost to much as it is.

Xandrox = Minoxdilli

Xandroxs main ingrediant is minoxidill. The only reason its called Xandrox is cause they added azealiac acid. Besides the azealaic acid they are exactly the same. You will get the same results. If Lees claims are true about azealiac acid you will get even better results than minoxdill. However, he only has one weak study to verify azealiac acid blocks dht. Wouldnt hurt 2 use either one .

If i where you I would use

Propecia
spironolactone
minoxidil 5% or Xandrox 5% if you willing 2 spend some extra cash

Crinagen which is purportedly an excellent DHT Blocker and was researched pretty well has Azleic acid as its main ingrediant. I just didn't like the smell or stickyness it left in my hair. I have 3 full bottles and a few partials if anyone is interested. The sh*t usually sells for $20 per bottle but I will sell it real cheap. I cant use any other topicals with my current formula. PM me and I will talk. I also have other stuff that I will through in for free like Folligen spray, lotion and cream. Crinagen worked pretty good and helped me re-grow some hair when I was on it for 4 mo.
