Ive been on finasteride for 6months and 2weeks now, I am one that has experienced some shedding and thinning of transplanted hair while on finasteride.
[FONT=Trebuchet MS, tahoma, arial, serif]Not related to DHT of course because the new hairs should be DHT resistant, but rather I believe due to a hormonal imbalance caused by this drug. finasteride does alter your hormones, and seems to affect each person differently. Everytime i do the pull test i pull out 5 hairs even in places that are DHT resistant like the back of my head and and sides? My body hair and beard has thinned out so bad to! I dont know what to do should i stop finasteride?? [/FONT]
