Question About finasteride & DHT

Ok over the last months "before" i started finasteride i would notice small black hairs growing "BUT" as they got a bit longer they would break or not be there in the morning. Is that the effect of DHT?

I'm asking because they are growing longer now then before and NOT breaking. It that the nizoral and finasteride preventing that?

DHT only allows hair to grow to a certain length before minituarising the hair follicle so much that no more hair can grow.
