Question About Finasteride Shedding

I started taking finasteride at the beginning of October, so I have almost completed 2 months at this point. I am only taking 0.2mg each day - The sides from 1mg we’re very noticeable to me.

Anyways, I would say that the finasteride has been tolerable and there are some days when I think it’s working and others when I question whether it’s doing nothing.

Since I have started, I have noticed that my hairline which was always fine, has started thinning significantly. I don’t know if this is part of the shedding phase (I’ve noticed some shedding in the last few weeks

Has anyone else experienced a thinning hairline after starting finasteride? Any other explanation anyone can think of to explain why the frontal thinning is getting worse?

Shedding is normal. Some argue its weaker hairs being shedded to make way for new stronger hairs. I shed for 3-4 months before it stabilised and i had regrowth (1mg dose).
