question about Minoxidil shedding! Plzz answer?

I started minoxidil in the start of July. My front and hairline areas have thinned significantly since starting Min. There are a couple of areas behind thinned

hairline that are completely void of hair. Is it possible to experience such void of hair spots during minoxidil shed?

Totally possible. I lost more hair in a month on minoxidil than I had the previous year. It grows back thicker and stronger. Don't fret, it's normal. Think of the long run, consider this simply temporary, because it is.

I've used minoxidil for 1 year and then quit. in the beginning after about a month I shed like crazy, but then it stopped after a while. I would still shed after but not as much.My hair did get thicker, but I would still lose alot. After about nine months my hair loss started more. now that I quit after 1 year because I don't think it's worth the hassle, I'm shedding like crazy, about 200-300 hairs a day. I quit about 1.5 months ago. I can't wait till this shed stops. In my honest opinion, I don't think it's worth it. shedding and not shedding, too much stress.

That is quite normal. Shedding occurs within the first 2-4 weeks of using minoxidyl.
