I've started taking spironolactone orally last week, from 50 to 100mg a day so far to help my oily skin and hair. I'm not expecting huge results but for now, i think its a proper introduction to antiandrogens since spironolactone may be the easiest one to get and perhaps the safest too. I've noticed amazing results on my skin: not oily anymore, and the softness is incredible. but so far its hard to tell if it affected my hair (for sure it made my hair less oily as well and less itchy)
I thought about using weak systemic antiandrogens to complement finasteride. I'm not a great responder (at least after 6 months). I have read somethings about it and i think its pretty much common sense that some male characteristics might fade over time if one pushes its antiandrogens regimen to a saturation point. However I would like to gather some input about your experiences:
Do you feel more tired than before while working out?
Do you lose muscle mass?
Does it affect your personality? ex. made you less or more aggressive/chill etc
Does it affect your productivity/rationale?
What are the worst things that can happen besides gynecomastia?
What are the positive aspects besides hair?
I would appreciate some input!
