Since you apparently have such an elevated vantage point as to "lol" at others suffering, or more specifically how they deal with, process, cope with suffering, I can only ask you what the f*** else are we suppossed to do? Are you advocating acceptance? Should we all just commit suicide or will you just lol at that too?

Seriously, if coping with hairloss is such a fau paux then what in the hell would you have us do instead?

People suppose every problem has a solution otherwise it goes into contradiction with their mind.

Balding doesn't have any mental solution —the only way beat the baldness is to get as much hair as you (or society) need to continue a full life.

If you are nw5+ and not Statham there are two choices:
1. accept it, find a hobby, travel or just lay down and rot — but with the fact that your life is not full since you have a genetic deformity
2. just end it

Any mental gymnastics post nw5 is a cope.

To many people this is so unthinkable that they refuse to even contemplate it. They need that solution to exist to make the world add up. Probably explains why the blue pill/just shave it viewpoint is so popular; it presents a simple and easy solution to a common problem. However, it's not really solving the problem as much as it is helping the individual deal with it through delusion and avoidance. The only true cure for the issues caused by hair loss is getting more hair.

Norwood 6-7 is very rare in male pattern baldness circles, probably about 2-3% end destination. You have everyone's respect for doing something. And uncomfortable man should take a leaf out of your book (8 years after he joined the forum) that something is better than nothing. But where I feel you make a mistake is applying your solution to everyone.

Most guys in real life with male pattern baldness and coming on here can get a fullish head of hair with medication, transplants and genetically not being destined for a very high norwood or at least much later in life. Especially as higher Norwood's are much rarer too. This remains their solution and desire. They have had hair much longer so it's also more vivid in their mind.

You were coming back from much worse in your 20s and having some hair is enough. It is to be respected but it doesn't solve everything mentally and physically and copeforlife has that mindset. Everyone still should treat it and not give up, but no point of delusion.

A NW7 is very rare? Just my luck for my dad to have that hair (but he has statham look). I look like a twink in comparison and would rather die than go bald in all honesty.

Yes it is. By your late 20s you should have a pattern of hair loss established by a doctor using a microscope. It will tell you of possible loss.

That's why the norwood chart is not one of progression that all balding males experience but possible levels they may end up reaching. All the hair on top is also not DHT sensitive to the same extent unless you have an aggressive pattern.

Treat it asap and think of transplants since it bothers you.

ive done a thread today on my hairline comparison from 2 months ago, and unfortunately it's ambiguous as to whether i should even treat it yet (im only 19). Also the people on here saying finasteride made their hair worse (when i have had zero thinning) means even that is a big risk. Just the fact my dad has the worst hair genetics, whereas mum's side of family has great hair is annoying & i look like mum's side of family too. Even the fact i don't have a perfectly straight hairline like I did last year really pisses me off. Literally only have anger towards this, not upset just enraged makes me hate myself (my likely to be poverty tier hair follicles) and worse as i'm decent looking. I'll be invisible to women if i surpass NW2 lmao.

side note: doctors in UK know f*** all about hairloss, the one I saw didn't even know if finasteride worked- where can i get scalp miniaturization mapped out? Thanks

This thread really hinges on what uncomfortable man is referring to, copeforlife actually gave a "solution" of sorts, and possibly UC was referring to what he does "to get by" and copeforlife laughed at whatever UC's "cope" is, as if UC offered it as a solution.

Only NW7's are not fit at all for a hair transplant.

One of my coworkers is and frankly, I don't know where they would harvest the hair, his donor is also a thin mess.

But if you are a NW6, you are still a candidate, you might no be able to fill your crown or to have good density but you can gain back a hair line.

And that makes all the difference.

And still, if I was a NW7, I'd totally consider a state-of-the-art temporary SMP at Milena Lardi's clinic.

Just do everything in your power to avoid being 'the bald guy'.

The options are out there, use them!

It's about being ideal. For a guy like me: (5'9'', small frame, 6/10 face) anything past NW1.5 is a death sentence and makes me invisible to any young, good looking female.
