Question for People that have had a transplant

Hey Guys,

I had my second hair transplant November 15,2008 it was to get more density in my hair line not really to fill in any bald spots.

Since my transplant I have experienced a lot of shock loss and my hair line is much thinner than I expected. I was warned that because I was getting hair around a lot of existing hair I may experience heavy shock loss but it is more then I was ready for.

So I was just wondering if anyone else has gone through anything similar and if you recovered ok?

Yeah it happens, unfortunatley it can take a while (months) for the hairs to grow back and its not uncommon for a small % of it not to come back.

If your transplant was nov '08 and your hair is not back yet, that could signify permanent shock loss.

Yes my transplane was Nov but the bolk of my shedding happend January with the most i would say Mid Jan.

Dose that make a diffrence?
