This has been bothering me for a minute.
Now before I pose my question, I will state that I'm asking this from a totally regular Joe's point of view, I really don't know nothing about medicine so maybe my question will sound corny to those who know anything about medicine etc.
So - HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
OK I get the idea. They take the hair from where It's most likely to regrow (and it's the bakck of the head and sides for most of balders) and they put it on places on your head where the sun shines brighter.
That's all good.
BUT - is it this a dumb question - why can't the hair transplant be done without donor hairs? For instance - why can't there be somethink like "generic" hair, and they transplant them on your scalp and it stays on your head for the rest of your life.
I wouldnt certainly bother with my haircut being the same all my life. I would comb it to the left on weekdays and to the right on weekends, I wouldnt care.
Why is that impossible?
I know this may sound dumb, but could there be something like....another peoples hair? Or is is super-crucial for transplantation that the hair is whole from the root?
As I asked above, why can't hair transplant be done in a way like a wig? But with no putting the piece on and off and worrying if it will fall of or get noticed.
It seems a bit awkward, medicine can make all sorts of reconstruction, from completely obsolete surgerys, operations regarding human heart, brain, bones, spine, anything, theres a great chance that it can be cured...but you mean to tell me that they cant make some sort of "generic" hair that can be put there and last for whatever? They can make perfectly good porcelain veneers, they on a way to make bionic eye, return sight to the blind, they can make you another heart, but the hair is a problem?
Cmon, lol. Its ridiculous. I would make a worldwide petition for ALL the people suffering from any level of male pattern baldness to shave bald and say "fukk off" to all these propecia and minoxidil companies. Maybe if that happened we would see some really "quick" improvements in male pattern baldness treatment. But Im just jokin on this cos I know never ever would that happend.
So back to my questions, I cant wait for some answers.
