Questions about Boots hair retention programme

Hi,
Is anybody using the UK Boots hair retention programme?
Is the drug they mention actually Propecia?.
I read in another post that some guy was rejected because he wasn't bald enough.

Yes, it's just Propecia. £30 a month, I believe. Not a good deal when you can get prescription Proscar for £8 a month. On the upside, you do get discounts on other Boots products.

Yeah, their programme is only Merck's propecia and nothing else.

I've been on it for a month, although I've been on finasteride since January. The reason I changed to Boots is for peace of mind as I don't like the gamble I take on the internet. My doctor won't give me proscar so I have no choice. Boots take regular photographs while checking progress.
