Quit finasteride due to sides. Now what??

So I quit finasteride as of yesterday. I wasnt on it for long and I was doing a little bit under 1 mg a day. I couldnt get an erection as easily, nor could I maintain it as easily as I could prior to starting. I understand some say I may ride it out with time, but being 23 and having issues like that is just unacceptable.
I dont want to wait for it to get worse, or to get to a point where even if I quit the finasteride it wouldnt reverse (which have happened to some).
Anyway I just believe i'd rather be safe than sorry.
Where do I go from here?
Did I make the right call?
Any advice is much appreciated..

I did go down to 0.5 the last 2 days.
I had a very positive attitude and I even stayed away from the sites.
I had a hard time geting hard, and then maintaining the hard-on even watching p**rn. NEVER an issue before

So how long were you on it? Anything less than 3 months would've been a big mistake imo. Your choice though.

Almost a month and a bit. I'm just scared with time it gets worse, and it wont reverse later.

Yes. You are not giving your body enough time to adjust.. permanent side effects have not been proven. Sides go away for most ppl

No dude, you arn't making a mistake. I bet alot of finasteride takers just say sides go away. I think their libido/erection strength is 65% and they count that as no sides. I mean, aslong as they can get it up once in a while right?

fact is, lowered DHT. that is a sex hormone. if you lower it, it's gotta do something other than stop hair miniturising. DHT dosnt' exist to just make hair fall out.

So, how do you explain ppl recovering from sides and getting their erection/libido back, while staying on the finasteride? No one is denying the existence of side effects.. I'm saying they disappear after some period of time.

That must have come straight out of a medical journal.
