Quitting After First Microdose - Recovery Time?

I started noticing my hair thinning a few weeks ago. It's still in good condition so want to keep it as it is.

So I thought I'd try Finaseteride. I've read about the flat dose response curve so I thought I'd try a small amount as a test to see if I got any sides. I crushed the pill up and took a tiny amount. I wasn't particularly scientific but I would guess I took around 0.02 to 0.03mg. Certainly no more than 0.05mg.

I got sides even with this dose. I'm a small guy so I guess this was ennough to have an impact. I got ed the next day and trouble keeping it up. I haven't taken another dose. I'm on my second day now and it's a similar story. Getting it up requires some focussed energy and even then it is not very stiff. Wierdly I was getting wood throughout the night but can't tell for sure how hard it was. I've also been feeling tired and hot...kind of like I'm about to get a cold. This could be placebo (or I might be getting a cold!), but the ed definitely is not.

Has anyone quit after the first dose or had sides immediately. How long do people take to recover?

You went into it with the mindset that you were terrified of side effects and so you got them, if someone unknowingly gave you 0.03mg, there's no way you would have noticed it.

Try at least 0.2-0.25mg for a week and if you can't tolerate it then stop, but you won't get any "permanent side effects" from using it for a week long.

I admit placebo or nocebo effect could be true of my fog brain, tiredness and feeling hot symptoms, but it's really not for the ED. It's a real physical effect.

Sorry to say but you’re one of the few to be hit with post finasteride syndrome. You probably have a good 4-5 month recovery time. If you have a girlfriend break up with her now before it’s the other way around. That’s my advice

Probably mental sides. I've taken finasteride once too. I would say give it a week or two. But probably it's mental because I took it on Monday a year ago. Yes I got some ball ache but nothing serious though I was afraid of sides. Friday I had the strongest boner in sex, but on saturday I thought it was a bit weak when I was alone. Then I got paranoid. I believe your sides are mental and even if they don't give it time. I also took 1.5mg or more at first dose. I got terrified to death too, I can assure you you have no reason to be scared...at least yet. Your 5ar enzymes will recover in some days, so will your dht, you didn't have enough time for physiological damage. Jesus, CrownBalding you an optimist

You don’t recognize sarcasm? This guy doesn’t have any side effects from taking less than 10% the prescribed dosage of finasteride one time.

Finasteride has a flat dose response curve. We know that 0.05mg has almost exactly the same impact on serum DHT as 1mg. So why is it so ridiculous that a small dose has had an impact on me?

I got ball ache on Saw Palmetto, I really don't think ball ache is that big of a deal and should largely be ignored unless it becomes a SHARP pain (super rare).

You took less than 1/16 of a gram. So you inhibited your dht by less than 25%, once. I think you’ll be fine man, it’s in your head.

From 0,05 you will not see any effect whatsoever. Except if you are readting super super strong to anti androgens.
Furthermore if you had a boner during the night your sides are 100% mental for sure.

Now completely detached from your hair, you have to change your mindset or you will remain scared of everything for your whole life.
