Quitting minoxidil Early Side Effects

Hello,

Due to some other health issues, I feel that I need to stop my round of minoxidil. I am only about 2 weeks into my daily treatments but have started the shedding process. Is it ok for me to stop now or is it something I should continue taking before quitting? I do not forsee myself using it again for at least a year until I can get my other health issues under control.

I have read horror stories about people continuing to shed with no regrowth if stopping early into their treatments so any advice would be helpful.

The other health issues are not related to the minoxidil and I am well aware that shedding is a good thing if I am taking the minoxidil. My question is will
There be negative regrowth consequences for hair I have already shed I I quit 2 weeks into my treatments.
