Hey guys,

Well..... I was hoping this day would never come. After over 7 months and almost no sides, it seems I might be developing gyno, I talked to HairLossTalk.com who said it could be fat deposits or something but I'm not taking the risk. Overall I dont think propecia was maintaining my hair anyway... my hair has gotten worse over the last 7 months. It's been an interesting experience, I don't think I will try anything else at this point.

Does anyone know if my gyno sides will halt now that I'm off propecia?

They should, but there is always a very remote chance it won't. It might be hard to look on the bright side but at least you are saving money from not using Propecia.

Also, atleast my libido will return to 100% (hopefully). Thanks for looking at the bright side with me.

Try Dr. Lee's 2% spironolactone...It worked better than propecia with no side effects. It gave me dense regrowth in 3 months.

that was about that time i started developoing gyno sytmptoms to at 7 months, i went down to 0.5 mg, and then realized even at low dosages it was still idn of affecting me. ween yourself off, replace with something else, you might see a shed 3 to 4 months from now, for me it was kind of bad, but it recovers.

Many grow paranoid and mistake simple fat deposits for Gyno. A doctor can give you a more legitimate diagnosis.

How do you decide whether its gyno or whether its just a case of you growing fatter?

If you really have gyno, you will absolutely know it.

With Gynocomastia the tissue is usually a little sore and you feel a lump under the nipple area....Taking steroids taught me that lesson, it was also the cause of my hairloss that started about 9 years ago. Probably the single most stupidest thing I've ever done in my life.
I took it to make my self look better and my f-in hair falls out. Not a day goes by that I don't regret taking that stuff.

yea i think im gonna stay on now.... argh....

Seriously, if you think you are developing gyno, go have a doctor (an endocrinologist particularly) check it out. They will give you an exact, unbiased measure and conduct a battery of blood tests.

3 months? I'm sure. (sarcastic)

Regrowth maybe, but "dense" regrowth in 3 months? I need clarification of your definition of "dense".... to me "dense" would be be like looking down on a "rainforest" canopy, and I can't see the forest's floor...two or three new trees growing in the Sahara desert might be worth a few high-fives but not considered "dense".
