It could be Telogen effluvium. Do you feel that your hair i thinning all over on top? it looks thick in the pictures though. Also how is your family history with baldness?
I have noticed shedding, but assumed that was due to all the dead hair caught in my long hair. My dad(51) is bald. Grandpa(86) is bald however has more hair on top than my dad. My uncle's both 40+ have hair and have only started to bald around the crown. On my mother's side my grandpa(65) died with more hair than my dad, and my other uncle(53) is suffering from a variety of health issues (very obese, and has a smoking and drinking problem) but he has a very receded hairline.
Also I just took a photo and noticed slight thinning near the top of my head as well.

Can't tell for sure by just looking at the picture? Do you yourself feel that you hair is thinning, like you doesn't feel the same thickness and density wen you run your fingers through your hair.
TBH I really can't. I've been growing my hair for over 8 months. If I move my hair around I can see scalp, but I assumed that it was just parts
