Rapid Diffuse Thinning- Teenage Male

Hi all!

I’m 19 years old and over the last 3 months have suffered rapid diffuse thinning. Not sure what I should do or what next course of action should be. Hair shedding has picked up in the last two months, hair seems flatter, and all the parts in the hair seem to be larger now.

Dad has receded a little, noticeable thinning but still has OK hair for age. Both grandparents went bald young so no surprise in the balding eventually, just happened so suddenly lol.

Did your dad thin and then his hair stopped thinning for a long time? Yeah diffuse can hit you out of nowhere.

Definitely go see a doctor and check if its male pattern baldness or maybe someting else like a deficiency. Look into finasteride or minoxidil, finasteride may be all you need to stop and maybe regrow your hair if it works. Gl

Ok thanks, what vitamin deficiencies should I be looking out for. Feel completely fine and eat well so doubt this is the issue, would be good to check out though.
