Re-Start Rogaine?

Hey Fellas,

I'd been on Rogaine Foam for about 5 months up until approx. one month ago. I ran out of Rogaine and just quit because I'm lazy (and dumb). Anyways, my hair has been falling out at a much faster rate since I quit and I also think I can see some small hairs which were starting to sprout because of the rogaine. My question is -- If I restart Rogaine Foam will I get the same starting shed that I (and most everyone) gets when they originally start rogaine? I really hope not because I obviously made a big mistake by stopping the rogaine. Any advice is much appreciated!

I stopped for four months after being on it for five years because of sudden itchness, flakes, redness and lost quite a bit of hair.
This caused me to re-start on FOAM and I can say that hair loss has halved almost immediately. (problably because I was already Rogaine 'Primed') hehehe!
You need to start up and keep doing it.....GO FOR THE FOAM....IT'S AMAZINGLY EASY, FLUFFS UP THE HAIR AND MORE EFFECTIVE THAN THE LIQUID! :D

I wondered about this too. I was on regular Rogaine for ages but my hair continued falling out over that time and my scalp was itchy all the time and felt like crap. I then started Propecia and dropped the Rogaine as I felt the itchiness it was causing was doing more harm than good. My hair has continued to fall out on Propecia but after hearing about Rogaine Foam I thought I would give it a try and combine it with Propecia to see if the two together help. I've now been on the foam for about 3 weeks and it is much better than the liquid Rogaine. I have noticed more hairs falling out since starting but I'm hoping this will stabilize soon and hopefully there will be some new growth.

Oh man I hate to say it but the worst is still ahead of you man....I ran Rogaine for 4 months and thickened my hair up A LOT and stupidly quit thinking finasteride would hold my results and for 4-5 months solid I was shedding huge and lost a huge amount of hair. I restarted minoxidil at about month 4 after quitting and am in month 7 now since quitting and am just now starting to see results again. I wish I could go back and not quit minoxidil but its a lesson learned I guess........NEVER QUIT minoxidil
