Really Need Help With My Minoxidil Hypertrichosis

hey guys , ive been on minoxidilf ofr 7 month now with no result , but some hypertrichosis of the forearm, shoulder ,hand ,etc...
It was because i applied to much in the beginning . Now i apply 1 ml per day , and i dont massage , do you think my unwanted body hair will reduce

If you took finasteride, they will. Mine did.

ok man, the things is that i was previously on propecia for 16 month before starting minoxidil .And i was basically the hairless 23 yo man on earth .
and after 3 month of minoxidil i got a fuking hypertrichosis of the hand , forearm , shoulder etc , but i overdose it ( 4 -5 ml per day)

And now i am taking 5 mg finasteride daily and regular amount of minoxidil, do you think that my unwanted hair will reduce , if they are 100 % caused by minoxidil .?

you seem to be a wise man doctor house and ive recently read a post of you about minoxidil where you were saying that it didnt cause regrowth .
DO you think minoxidil is useless .
I think that ive fucked up my hairline , i was on propecia and it maintained some vellu hair at my hairline, and now they have shed and didnt regrow , and now i am trapped with minoxidil , if i stop i will fall below baseline so i dont know what to do.

Minoxidil worsen my hairline.

Some are more sensitive to minoxidil side effects than others. 4 or 5 ml applications are ok for some and cause terrible side effects worse than hypertrichosis for others. I think u should reduce to 2 ml daily for a few months and see how it goes. Your excess body hair will likely reduce in that time if due to minoxidil. If your hair isn't improving at all, then just drop it.

thanks for your help dude , so you think that if i use the regular amount and apply the product with a q tip my excesive body hair will reduce ? That would be great . i do,'t want to drop minoxidil because it is a proven treatment .
And it coulden worsen my HAIR , THAT WULD BE INSANE .

No, I don't think minoxidil is useless. However, it definitely works best with finasteride. Most people get the most gains from minoxidil in the first two years if they are good responders. Then you either maintain or get worse even on it. Depends how aggressive your genes tend to be.

thanks guys , i am on 5 mg fnasteride daily , and i f i got no sides i will add duta soon .
But will my hyperrichosis reduce if i reduce minoxidil ? given the fact that is dose dependant.

one more question to you docotr and k9gatton, does the liquid minoxidil need to be massage ?
Or can you just let it soak , and let the minoxidil penetrate into your scalp ?
i thought that the pg vehice you didnt need to massage the liquid solution .
because i got hand nad forearm hypertrichosis because of massaging the solution .

Wax your hand and stop yappin. Take the minoxidil and give it a year. Talking about it everyday and freaking out isnt helping you. I mean why freak out?? If minoxidil doesnt work your only going to lose hair as beforehand without it.

I apply minoxnonce daily at night. I prob use 1/5 of the 1ml on each temple. Quick few rubs on temples and smooth across hairline. Jump into bed. Done.

Your thinking about it too much. The key to hairloss treatments is to try forget them as soon as u finish applying. Overthinking it and staring at the hairline closely all time is not guna do anything but give you negative thoughts.

I use the foam so I massage that in. I don't think it would hurt if you do. Use gloves if you want to massage it in. But you are still getting systemic minoxidil thru the scalp.
