Gentlemen,
I'm a 35 year old white male in basically good health. I have begun to notice significant thinning in the classic male pattern baldness areas.
But... I've also got thinning in a place that I would consider to be a little more unusual.
As you can see, there is signifcant thinning above the ear. The other side is roughly the same, though not quite as bad.
If I'm going bald, I'm fine with it. I will do it as gracefully as possible and work out all the time so I can look more like Vin Deisel than George Costanza.
But I'm a little concerned about these patches over the ears... Any ideas here? Is this possibly a symptom of some medical problem? Is this normal, and I just didn't know it?
