I think it would reduce the risk, if someone take a combination of drugs.

It would make sense to combine finasteride (such as fincar) and dutasteride (such as dutagen) or to combine dutasteride from different manufacterer (one day dutagen and the other dutas).

Does anyone take it like I discribed?

It would reduce the hair loss risk, but increase the medical risk. Personally I would get a reputable manufacturer and stick with it. Most of the generics are from reputable manufacturers that operate in the USA and other places. UnitedPharmacies.com lists the manufacturer name, and then you can check out their websites if you aren't sure. I don't think there are many people that go through the trouble of forging generic drugs.
