The desire to reduce my T sounds ridiculous, but while on finasteride, around the 5 or 6 year mark, my seb derm spread on my body and scalp, became way more itchy and intolerable, and it all seemed to coincide with my the rest of my hair became more diffusely thin.
With resting T levels around mid 800s, that makes me think my receptors have eventually become more sensitive, and my floating T has ramped up my skin issues. More proof of this is that, while trying dutasteride for just 3 weeks, my skin issues worsened a lot, suggesting the higher T levels may have caused this.
I'd like to know, then, what people might think would be best for a personalized treatment for me, with the ultimate goal of obviously blocking/desensitizing the receptors, and also possibly lowering my T a bit.
Topical spironolactone seems to be an interesting remedy for this, then, since it could block the receptors and also possibly lower my T?
