Hey guys...im probably just being slow here but the message on Dr.Lee's 2% bottle seems sort of vague

It says to refrigerate bottles not in use

Does that mean unopened bottles than have yet to be used once?

Or bottles currently being used for treatment but store in the fridge when not in use

In other words can i just leave the bottle im currently using at room temp

Thanks

No, Dr. Lee has said its not necessary to refrigerate your current open bottle. I refrigerate it anyways, because it takes me 3-5 months to go through a single bottle. I also do it to keep the bad smell at bay for as long as possible. The consistancy stays thicker, and it doesn't run as much when cold. Also, it feels good going onto the scalp when cold.

Good luck! I grew a lot of hair using the 2%, applying it 1X/day.

Another happy spironolactone user here... I go through about a bottle a month of the 2% sh*t. I order my spironolactone in quantities to minimize shipping cost and only keep my unopened bottles in the fridge. I keep my 'active' bottle unrefrigerated and in my bathroom pantry shelf.

BTW, for those of you who once dabbled in spironolactone 2% but quit due to the odor, I suggest you try again. The new Dr Lee 2% spironolactone is a complete revolution in odor elimination. He said he had been trying a new formula, and in my opinion the odor issue is pretty much gone. No sh*t here, I am dead serious.

Then again, maybe because I go through spironolactone quickly it is relatively 'fresh' and does not have a chance to get stanky before I use it all up?

Yo JF, were/are you using anything else while on the 2% spironolactone?

I always keep mine in the fridge. I used it for about 6-7 months last spring after temporarily dropping finasteride. Wasn't sure spironolactone was adding anything to my minoxidil regrowth so I dropped it. I didn't notice a change.

Lately I started using again just because I still have a mostly full bottle in the fridge to use up. I'm back on finasteride though so probably won't reorder any more.

Initiallly, I used the spironolactone as single agent. See my other posts for the full explanation.

I now use 2% spironolactone along with 5% minoxidil, crew copper peptides, and nizoral.
